We serve the general public, demolition companies, and private businesses. Contractors running steady volume can also be set up with a container on site instead of hauling every load in.
How to sort a load for the better rate
Keep ferrous and non-ferrous apart. A magnet settles it: if it sticks, it is steel or iron; if it does not, it is copper, brass, aluminum, or stainless, and it is worth more.
Within the non-ferrous, keep copper, brass, and aluminum in separate buckets, and pull off plastic, rubber, and wood where you can. Clean, sorted metal grades higher and moves across the scale faster.
Wire is priced on what is inside the jacket, so keep insulated copper separate from insulated aluminum. Appliances that held Freon need the refrigerant professionally removed and the unit tagged before they come in.

No. Bring the load in during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We help you unload, weigh it, and pay you on the spot.
Contractors and businesses with steady scrap volume can be set up with a 10, 20, 30, or 40 yard roll-off, placed on site and collected when it fills. It is set up per account, so call the yard to get started.
